Stopped in for lunch after hitting the greenway. The restaurant was nice, clean, and the menu was big! I opted for the Sunday special of Calabash Shrimp and my lunch buddy went for the grilled ham & cheese. The service was really quick and the food was delicious! With the menu options and the price point, to can't beat it! This place offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner and suits every budget. Will be returning!
I work at an office near Union Diner, and called in breakfast orders for five of us. The young lady who took my order was the nicest person I've spoken with in ages. She took the time to put a name to each order, and verify each one for accuracy. Breakfast was reasonably priced, and DELICIOUS. Real biscuits, real grits, and bacon/eggs were wonderful. I can't wait to have breakfast here again.
Today I had a taste for something new so I chose Union diner in Gastonia Nc. I ordered the beef tip and chicken over rice with green beans and potato salad w/corn bread. Everything was seasoned which I didn't expect but was grateful it was and the perfect ratio. I will eat there again especially because the serve breakfast all day long!!!!
